The construction of UCCC’s “Faith City” is underway and the smell of fresh paint and sawdust is in the air. “Faith City” is an overhaul of UCCC’s Kindergarten through 5th Grade Bible class program to include classroom redesign and curriculum development. “Faith City” utilizes a themed-room approach through which the children rotate over a 5-week term. The classrooms include a Theatre, Game room, Arts & Crafts Room, Café, and Museum – a “city” of sorts. The curriculum incorporates these themed rooms into each lesson, allowing children to learn the Bible through a variety of teaching styles, modalities and activities.
